Effective 1 September 2026. Larp is built for transparent, FTC-style disclosed endorsements and authentic participation—not covert influence.
Disclosed endorsements#
Every paid post or comment must clearly disclose the material connection in the content itself. The wording must be plain, conspicuous, and hard to miss. Ambassadors post from their own Reddit accounts and may express only honest opinions and experiences.
Claims and briefs#
Advertisers must provide truthful, supportable claims and enough context for an ambassador to avoid misleading readers. Do not require an ambassador to claim use, results, credentials, or beliefs they do not have. Health, financial, and performance claims require particular care.
No fake engagement#
Campaigns may not purchase or coordinate votes, require upvotes, manufacture comments, use account farms, brigade communities, manipulate rankings, or pay for engagement that appears organic. Vote buying and payment based on voting outcomes are prohibited.
Review and records#
Automated checks may inspect public evidence and disclosure text. Advertisers do not review completions; platform staff compare the submission with the brief and compliance rules. We may retain campaign, permalink, review, and payment records for audit and dispute handling.
Community and platform rules#
Campaign instructions must respect Reddit's rules and each community's requirements. Approval by Larp does not override moderator decisions or guarantee content permanence. Attempts to evade moderation or conceal coordination are prohibited.
Enforcement and reporting#
We may require correction, reject work, withhold unearned awards, pause campaigns, or suspend access. Report questionable campaigns or endorsements to hello@larp.ad.
